Here’s a couple pics of two that are in the process of melting apart, and a couple of one that dropped. This is clearly not a case of the bracket slowly cutting through the bolt.

I guess some people have never seen anyone stick weld with a battery...

You think it's too many amps for the bolt to handle?

It wouldn't matter what size the bolt was. Once it's loose and arcing occurs, metal is removed.

Too many amps for a bolt that’s loose. That’s the reason for the wiggle test. As long as the bolt is tight, no problem.
