If ya can't crack wise about a Ford and their ugly design changes on a Ram forum it is truly the end of daysOk, I'll bite. What's the punch line?

I have the AMP step there right at the front of the bed and with a crossover toolbox that flips forward, it's actually nearly useless.I agree, I’d like a step there.

I need to move it back to in front of the wheel like the Dually's, where it would serve me better messing with my 5th wheel, but just too many other priorities than running down a rivnut and making a custom bracket to retrofit.
That is very true, the height of that pull out step does contribute to it's uselessness.I tried the AMP step and found the same, but it’s much lower and that contributed to its lack of usefulness.
I had wheel to wheel steps on my 18 and used the bed portion often. A well designed bed step, which may not be Furd or GM, would be a great addition to the Ram.
That thing might need some AMP steps.
