Funny pics and Memes thread - keep it clean

So much for keeping the politics out this thread. I'm not the only one who has stated that they would prefer this not be a thread containing political humor. There are many, like me, who are not American so have no dog in this hunt. And, there are also those who may choose a different political ideology. For those not of the same political bias, many of the "funny" posts are not funny at all and may even be offensive to some.

MOD, when are the stated guidelines for the thread going to upheld? I'm not the only one that has stated that they would prefer this thread be kept "clean". And, you clearly stated what you meant by "clean" in the first post.

Nobody is forcing you to read it. If you don't like them ignore them. You know you can ignore individual posters don't you? Always funny when someone doesn't like something they try and ruin it for others.

Nothing about what I choose to read or don't, and I actually do find some of the political stuff funny... but, as I stated it's about guidelines being made and not followed. You did read what I posted, didn't you? ;)

Why are the guidelines enforced on other threads and not this one???

And, again, others have chimed in with similar comments, so it's not just me...

I did say "try to keep the politics out of it." It does not say "NO Politics" like some other threads do.

I can't police every post. If you can't stay out of a thread and find a particular post is violating site rules, or the "guidelines" posted in post #1, please report it and explain why you think it requires moderation.

This is not directed at anyone in particular: If it's just a political meme that hurts your feels, please don't deluge me with reports.

Yelling MOM ,err MOD in a post doesn't necessarily attract any attention.

Also, as suggested, it's strongly recommended that if a particular member's posts are offensive to you, just put them on your ignore list.

Love the sarcasm, really helpful.

Hey, you made the guidelines, and I certainly have not responded to even a small fraction of the posts that are clearly rude and offensive to anyone not of the same political bias. They are not "clean" - no I would not show many of them to my wife, my mom, my pastor, etc. So, it's not just violating a guideline to "try to keep the politics out of it". I suspect that you know exactly what I mean and why I'm raising the issue. You have had plenty of opportunity to drop by with even a "hey now" once in awhile, considering how many posts of that nature have popped up.

In the meantime, I will report the blatant offenders, just as you suggested.
I do appreciate your moderation work on this forum, but hey all of us have our biases and blind spots. Others have called you out for your blind spots on this thread.

Really? Please do report these as well so that I may review.

While you're at it, please also find all the "hey now" posts I HAVE made. You also don't see posts that have been deleted, or hard or soft warnings given, so there's that.
 
Ok everyone, there's a few folks that are disappointed in the latest round of posts so here's the reminder,

Keep it clean, no racy stuff you wouldn't show your wife, mother, daughter, or pastor, try to keep the politics out of it, and remember it's a Funny PIC (and MEMES) thread.

Seems like maybe this isn’t the thread for you? Of course you’re going to find stuff on the internet you don’t agree with. Move along to the next post.
 
So, I think I have been one of the more regular posters here; and have drawn more likes than most, so this thread is for me.
I won't bother to reply to all of the cheap shots; I'm a big boy, and unlike the hero of certain cult members on this forum, I don't have a fragile ego. If you find that offensive, apparently you all know how to ignore.

In the meantime, I enjoy this thread and will keep posting.
