Any ATF + 4 is suitable - I found 12 qts on Amazon of Mopar.

RFE with just drain/fill is ~6.5 qts
Front diff - just shy of 3 qts
Rear diff - just shy of 4 qts Any synthetic is fine.

My front diff fluid was in pristine condition. Rear was like dark maple syrup (at 60,000 miles).

Transfer case was filled with ATF, but I put in the recommended stuff (as I already had it on hand).

I put on a deep sump on the trans, plus new filters, so it took 9.5 qts to get filled correctly.

You've got the 9.5" front axle, and the 11.5" rear, and your T-case is the BW 44-46 in the attachment.

As for which fluids to use in the axle - Mopar recommends a limited slip additive. You can buy a small bottle at the dealer, or just get any of the modern synthetics that already have it.

This is super easy to fill with https://shop.valvolineglobal.com/products/flexfill-full-synthetic-gear-oil-sae-75w-90 as an example, but you can use any brand you like.

I see amsoil only offers 75w85 and 75w140. It’s recommending me the 75w85 so did something change?

You’re seeing what Amsoil recommends based on the Ram owners manual, now what Amsoil offers.

The owners manual recommends either 75w-85 or 75w-140 depending on the axle.

This shows what Amsoil offers in their severe gear lineup. The 75w-85 is fairly new.

If you are going to get the trans filter from Geno’s, might as well get the oil, fuel and air filters from them and get genuine, name brand top quality filters. No Chinesium garbage.

how can you know if your differential is open or has the anti spin? It takes different fluid according to what differential type you have. I just bought a 2024 3500 6.7 tradesman with the single rear wheel. I can’t seem to find out what it’s setup with other that 3.73 gears and 11.5” ring gear. Is there a code on the build sheet that wild tell me?

The answer is in the thread you started.

You may want to change your CCV filter also, when we purchased our 2020 it had 82k so we did a complete service, all oils and filters. They recommend changing at 65k and since I had limited service information I pulled it out and replaced it. The pictures look bad but that's because I prided apart so I could see what it looked like up close and personal.

Gen 4.5 CGI trucks had the CCV service interval increased to 75K miles or 60 months.

Oh noted, I have read a few different things about that changing. I was going off the 2020 owners manual, thanks for the update!

I’m past 5 years with like 26k miles. I wonder how critical that 60 month time frame is?

Probably mostly critical for warranty purposes, just like every other service with time and miles.

Could be I don't have the manual in front of me but I've been known to misread things lol, My point being maybe something that he would want to check with that many miles.

Yea I’m going to ride that change interval out a couple/few years for sure. Never really heard of one failing due to time.
