2020 Ram Bighorn bought 2 months ago with 32,656 miles... Currently 37, 009 miles and the truck shut down and had to be towed to the dealer. 2 days later dealer has no information on the issue, but says could be the Fuel Pump or the system could be contaminated but they dont know yet. Could this be covered under the warranty ? My dealer is expressing really bad Customer Service and thinking i should escalate this issue further..

Condolences.

I’m really sorry to hear that. I just read a new post on a Cummins forum from a couple of days ago about another CP4 failure involving a truck with less than 5,000 miles on it. I’ve been doing quite a bit of research on these failures and I seem to come across a new failure at least once every week or two.

Hi there, we are sincerely sorry to hear that this happened and we are more than willing to offer support alongside your dealer service! Please send us a private message with your VIN so that we may investigate this further on your behalf, thank you.

Hi Kathryn,
Who/what is RAM Cares?
thanks!
RamCares is the internet customer service and "if you have a problem let us know and we can escalate the issue internally to possibly put an engineer on the problem if the dealer cant figure it out" part of rams customer service team.

There are a bunch of people who use the same profile, keep track of the name at the bottom. They all use a similar message when someone has an issue and is think of or already taken their vehicle to the dealer.

The internal info the forum has gotten out of them is sparse at best. Probably because they either don't know or cant say due to workplace rules.

And to be honest, because of the copy/paste initial greeting, I almost thought it was a bot. Until I found a few with differing responses that didn't include the "..support along side the dealer.." boilerplate message.. But those are rare.
