Hi new to this forum. Need help finding a fuel pump for my 2015 3500 6.4l cab chassis tradesman with engine code ESB. Dodge said not available till the end of the year. Looking for any advice in a good aftermarket pump or work around. Every site I've looked at is out of stock. Plenty of pumps for engine code ESA but no ESB.

Rockauto.com has a Delphi FG1432 that is under your truck's application. Delphi is likely the company that makes the pump for Ram anyway. Very good brand. 214 dollars

Not sure what the different engine codes are. It lists just one pump option for the 6.4

Thank you. I SAW that one but it's for engine code ESA. I'm not sure what determines the ESA or ESB engine code but I know it makes a difference in the pump for some reason. Thank you for the help though. The ESB fuel pump is like a unicorn right now. You hear about it but never see it. Lol

Was the dealer able to provide you with an OEM part number?

Hey I misread that your truck is a chassis cab. Did some research and apparently it is a different engine from the regular trucks. I find it weird though they use a different pump.

Yes I know what you mean. Designers and their infinite wisdom putting several different pumps on similar engines. It would be so much easier to use one pump on all trucks with a regulator to adjust the pressure to whatever is need.
