Any one know what the powerstrokes are getting for fuel mileage? From reliable source that are not liar’s.
The link you sent looks more like I was thinking than hearing.Check here: https://www.fuelly.com/car/ford/f-350_super_duty
Not sure how much info you're going to get about the Powerstroke on a Ram forum.![]()
I would be happy with that.Hand calculated
Like you, was disappointed with early mileage, couldn't get over 13mpg.
At 1500 miles it jumped to 15+mpg
At 5700 miles it's getting 17-18 on open highway, 65-80 mph.
One 525 mile stretch was 18.8, very happy with that. They tell me it will improve as it breaks in up to 10,000 miles.
Towing was the same. Pulling 9800 lb travel trailer at 55-65mph was 9-10 mpg, no better than my 2006 Ford F350 tuned 6.0.
At 6300 miles it's getting 12.5

Thanks for your information much appreciated.I have a buddy of mine down the road that has a 20 model 350 Dually and he gets 11 MPG in town vs. my 2019 3500 Dually getting 15 MPG.
HWY- he gets 16 MPG and I routinely get 20 MPG (both of us without a load on the vehicles.

I totally agree lolSo a close friend of mine has a F350 DRW Super Poopy with the 6.7l power joke (Its what I call his truck)LOL. His truck is 2 years old and well broken in (around 25k miles). I have a 2022 3500 SRW with the 6.7lHO with 1200 miles on it. He gets about 13 around town, I get 13 around town. On the road I am seeing about 22 mpg, his best has been around 19 (Empty). It is all variable, based on rear end ratios, transmissions, and empty weight of the vehicle. So I would expect his truck to do a little bit less in the MPG race but he does have the 10 speed transmission so???? I think any truck that puts out over 400 hp, 1075 (1050 for the Ford) ft/lb of torque and has an empty weight north of 7500 lbs getting 13 city and 18+ highway is absolutely fantastic and I don't care what label is stuck on the front grill. He loves how my 3500 runs, the Cummins engine sounds great compared to his V8 (his comparison) and I have driven his Ford numerous times and I like it but for how the transmission shifts. Just different, not bad.... Now if you mention Chevy or Duracrap I am done... I have no idea why GM takes a nice product and builds the ugliest truck on the market.. My GOD the new chevys are UGLY. Reminds me of the horrid Pontiac Aztecs!!! LOL
