Fuel filters for 2024 Ram 6.7

Doc filters are garbage. Good advertising but cheaply made.
I see fleet guard makes a fuel filter that has the same specs as the MOPAR. Does fleet guard make the MOPAR filter?

I’ve been using Baldwin PF46152 for the rear filter and a FleetGuard FS53000 for the front filter. Baldwin/Parker is who owns the patent for the rear under bed filter.
You want the following:
Fleetguard FS53000
Baldwin PF46152 (or Fleetguard FS20378)
The above are the OEM filters, just not in Mopar boxes with 200% markup.
They’re available through most commercial truck dealerships like Freightliner, International, etc. You can also buy the Mopar branded ones through Geno’s Garage (as mentioned previously in this thread). Both are good sources, and they’re about half the cost of a Ram dealership.

Has anyone used bproauto for the chassis-mounted filter? These are also sold/endorsed via Mopar and available on Genos site.

Yes. @ gsbrockman has been running them on his hotshot rig since they first came out and hasn’t reported anything negative as far as I know.
I’ve been using them, 2 swaps and no problems.

I sure wish we could get them low prices from our truck shops, the FS20378 is over $100 if you can find one, PF46153 is around $60 plus a two hour drive round trip, if I shop Rock Auto they have the PF46152 for $37.79 plus $7.00 shipping
I’m paying about $75 for the Fleetguard FS53000 and around $55 for the Baldwin PF46152. If you have any commercial truck fleets around you, you might be able to buy them under their account and save some $$ if they’re willing to play ball. Doesn’t really take anything away from them, or the retailer as they’re still buying volume regardless.

The BProAuto line is a Stellantis money grab.
They’re buying subpar products made in Chy-na and then rebranding them under their own aftermarket brand. No posted filtration specs, no posted flow rates, and probably not manufactured by an ISO compliant filtration manufacturer. Guarantee Stellantis is buying them for pennies on the dollar, marking them up substantially, and then backing them by their hollow warranty claims. It’s their attempt to offer a “cheaper” alternative so they can keep basic service work in their service bays instead of losing that business to someone else selling cheap stuff. Might as well just buy the Doc’s or the PTC’s. $16 isn’t enough of a savings to make it worth the risk.
