Fuel Filter Upgraded Questions

6.7 diesels have a run/don't run feature. They are designed for the OEM filters only. Everything else is risky.
I installed a new Mopar fuel filter but the truck would not start. Looked just like the original.

Front or rear filter, I know if you don't get the front fully seated it will not allow fuel to flow, I assume you hit the start & stop a few time to let it blead the air out?

Press the start button with your foot off the brake and put it in the run position you can hear the pump kick on for 30 seconds then turn it off and repeat that cycle 2 more times (3total cycles) then fire it up and you should be good to go.
