Hello,

Trying to get my longhorn some new wheels and tires. l love the fuel covert in bronze. But also love the gunmetal version too. I want to keep the truck stock. Since I have air suspension and adaptive cruise control.
‘Questions:
- 18 or 20” if I stay at 18, I’ll get better ride quality. Is there any other pros or cons?
- backspacing, I am clues here. I would like a some poke out. But not over an inch or so.
- thinking about running nitto terra or ridge tires at 35x11.5(or 12.5). I’m leaning more towards the ridge though, read some good info about load and tire pressures.
Opinions?

For a reference, my wheels/tires are close to flush with the body. They are 5.79 backspacing (+20mm offset in a 9" wheel). specs in my signature.

Personally, I like the ride and look of more tire so I favor the 18s. 20s look good too, though. You might also want to compare prices for 18" vs 20" tires.

Don’t buy from Custom offsets, any company other than them. They take no responsibility for what they sell. I bought a $5800 wheel/tire package and 2 of the 6 tires are out of round. They say it’s not their problem, either park my truck for 30+ days send the tires in or buy 2 more tires then send the out of round tires in and then they’ll send them to manafacture and if out of round get refunded, if not I’ll own 8 tires, but I’m sure they charge me another $300+ to get my old tires back. As you can tell I’m not happy with Custom offsets.
Also the 6 TPS I bought for and they installed don’t work, all I have to do is remove them, send them in and then they’ll send replacements or refund me the cost of the sensors. BS company cares

I think the gunmetal would look better with the other chrome on your truck. Bronze would be out of place, I think. I LOVE the Covert, I just don’t think I would Love cleaning them, haha!!
