have a bad front wheel bearing on my 2020 Ram 2500 Cummins. Do i replace the whole hub assembly or can just the bearing be replaced? And why is the Moog hub assembly so cheap ($150) vs Mopar at $650? I'm not expert on suspension so sorry for all the questions.

I’ve used moog wheel bearing assemblies in the past on other vehicles without any problems, If/when I have to replace one on my truck I personally wouldn’t hesitate to use one. Just replace the whole assembly, it’s pretty straightforward. I can only guess that the MOPAR part is more expensive because it’s MOPAR.
Edit: I try to shop on rock auto for parts if I can afford to wait a day or two. It’s always more expensive at the brick and mortar stores.

Just had one replaced on my 22’ 2500 last week. 24K miles on the truck. Dealer replaced it under warranty. No noise or vibration but had slack in it that I found while rotating the tires. I could actually feel the difference the new hub made in the steering.

Had a catastrophic bearing failure in a 26' straight truck hauling mail once. Kept hearing a grinding noise, then a lil vibration. Stopped checked, nothing? What could be wrong?, just got new brakes from service center... Drive rinse repeat x3. Fuk it, mails gotta go! Get rolling again, 65mph, feel a shudder, drivers front drops 20" as I see my steer tire pass me on the left.. Hit the brakes, pedal straight to the floor!. Grab park brake, hit neutral and etched my way to the side. Moog is better than that option!
Just sayin.
