Front Receiver Hitch

Put one on my 2006 2500 took about 90 mins, this was a different animal. Was your install on a 2020 model. This shop has been in business for around 20 years and specialize in all types of hitches, lifts and all 4x4 needs. They had never installed this particular hitch because it had just come out, said it had more hardware and parts of any hitch they ever installed. They also said it was very well made and installed as advertised with a lot attention to detail and that they will start offering Tork Lift hitches.

Howdy, just had a front hitch installed today on my 2020 ram 3500. It is made by Tork Lift model # X7910
Can you have something in the hitch and have a front license plate up there? It looks like you can not.

I have been talking to etrailer for a week or so about options for my 2019 3500. I want a front receiver hitch to mount bicycles. I know there is one for the 2500s. Etrailer says they haven't confirmed fittament for a 3500. The told me draw Tite made one that was confirmed. I thought it looked like a 2018 setup, but they sent it. Anyway, it doesn't fit. Just curious if anyone has a front receiver hitch mounted on a 3500?
I just installed the X7910 from Torklift Central. It was an easy install if you have good mechanical abiltities, extremely well engineered, great instructions. Takes a bit of time, but I did it completely by myself in 4 hours. Could probably be half that with help. The hitch is VERY heavy duty. Don't hesitate if you need a front hitch. It is no lower than anything else under the truck.

Got any pictures?

Installed the Curt front hitch, model 31089. The instructions’ cutout dimensions for the air dam were way off. It had to be a lot wider and taller to clear the upper plate. Mine ended up at 2-1/2” tall x 4-1/8” wide. I think this also allows for a hitch pin to be more easily installed.

Going to look into a 4-bike rack to hang out front when towing travel trailer.

I have the TorkLift for the 2020 Ram 2500 on My power wagon. Fits well and clears The Winch. Makes maneuvering trailers in tight spaces a lot easier. and I can use the winch to pull stuff up onto the flat bed.

Anybody with the front camera know if you can use it to line up a trailer hitch? This may be my first mod when my truck gets here. I ordered with the 360 camera system, but I have no idea what you can actually see in front of you.

I have, its pretty good, just have to be careful and go slow. Usually the park sense is screaming because I forget to toggle it off. Its not in but the hitch shows up center bottom in the image. If I remember I will install the hitch and shoot another pic. Also handy when pulling into a parking spot and you don't want to kiss the Miata that just disappeared in front of you. :)

I ordered the Torklift Hitch from there website and had it delivered to my house. I just had it installed yesterday and I am very pleased with the design and sturdiness of the hitch. I tow a fifth wheel and carry 14' kayaks using a Thule T-post on the front hitch and Yakima rack on the roof of the truck. It has worked out great in the past on my 2006 2500 Ram but I couldn't find a front hitch for my 2019 3500 Ram until now. I appreciate getting pointed to Torklift hitch.
Can you post pics of the kayaks on the rack system? Thanks!

Just curious as to the trailer weight and tongue weight you are maneuvering?

Today I was moving a 5000 pound boat with at least 500 pounds tongue weight. It didn’t even moan.
That’s exactly what I’m looking to move around. How’s she go down the highway? Lol

I push around a couple M101A3 1Ton trailers and a 20’ car hauler. Tongue weights are around probably 500 max so far. Haven’t had any issues with excessive squat in the front. I also plan to use it to support long lengths of lumber and kayaks with one of those bed extenders or a bike rack.

Any of you with front hitches have a steering brace installed?? Does a steering brace interfere with the front hitch install and needs to come off?
Couldn't realy tell from the pictures so would be nice if someone clarifies.

Is that an add on? Mine is stock.

Yes that is an aftermarket addon. Saves the steering box in a long run.

I have a steering brace and it uses the sway bar bracket bolts. If you look at one of the first pictures you can see this hitch doesn't use that.

From my eyes the hitch uses the frame rails so you're good to go.
