Front camera options

The below one. Basically the same wolfbox, they just added another camera that you mount to the front somehow

I just ordered one. It looks like its the same 3 channel setup they have for the front/cab/rear setup but with a bumper cam developed to use the cab channel. This is going to be sweet!

Does anyone have pictures of how the Wolfbox G900 tripro look on a Power wagon? Did you guys run into any problems installing it.

I have not installed it yet, because I am waiting till I put my light mount on. I am thinking about attaching the front camera to that. I did pick up an extra liscense plate mount though in case I want to use the two holes in the bumper for that instead.

One thing of note, at least if you have a tradesman power wagon for sure, this mirror replacement bracket does work. I tested that as soon as it came in.

I'll update here once I get it installed.

Thank you for the information! I don't have the tradesman power wagon, but I assumed that the bracket wouldn't be compatible with the 5th-generation power wagon. Good luck with the installation! I'm curious if the rear camera can be set up to monitor the bed cargo.

What year is your Tradesman? Thanks!

Hey all, I have been looking around and going back and forth. That being said, that universal one from camera source is the only one I found that I could make work on my 12inch touch screen as well as have the option to add a backup camera for my trailer. With adding the second camera the cost looks like 1k.. Anyone else seen other options that I am missing besides wolf? I like the price, but did not want to have my front camera on my mirror. It just feels wrong and really wanted the front camera on the main touchscreen

I feel like Ram really missed the boat with this not being available as a dealer installed option. I want a front camera to operate seamlessly with my in dash screen. I don't want any extra screens. Cargo cam would be a nice bonus to. I don't understand why dealers can't add these with factory harnesses. Oh well, still paying attention to who can pull this off.

A little offtopic here (maybe we should take this to PMs) but what camper are you getting?
GoFast. It only weighs around 300 pounds, and it is super strong. It has some drawbacks, and doesn't have as many features as some other brands, but none of those other brands are as light. Sorry for aiding and abetting a thread-diversion!

Any updates on programming a 2025 Power wagon with reference to forward camera install AFTER it gets home? Still can’t find a way to integrate into the 14” screen

Doing the wolfbox this week. Planning it out right now, and having trouble figuring out which fuses to tap. Couldnt find anything with the search here either. Anyone have any recs?

You looking for an ignition tap? I have a few things saved from when I was installing a radio and wanted an ignition tap trigger wire

Yeah, it has the stantard dash cam wiring harness. Fuse taps and leads for Battery positive and ACC then a ground.

This is what I have. Look up dash cam install HD rams on google. It works much better than the search in the forum does (at least for me) and it should point you in the right direction if you need more

No problem! Please post an update here when you’re done to see how it works. My PW came with everything but a front camera and I really want to add one
Used 91 and 65 and everything works great. Ill post some pics tomorrow after I do the cable management.
