Can anyone tell me by the pics if these cab mounts look normal? They look like there is something missing or the bolts are too long. They are torqued to 80 ftlbs.

It definitely doesn’t look right to me, but not sure how it’s supposed to look. I’ll be taking delivery of my 2500 in 2 weeks and will take a look at mine. You’ve piqued my curiosity.

My 22’ 2500 CC/LB rides a lot worse than the 18’ CC/SB I had. It just has a jitteriness to it that is bad enough you can’t carry on a conversation. I don’t know if it has to do with the off road package or it’s something to do with the cab mounts but it’s rough.

Did you ever figure out if this is right? Mine look weird to me as well. And I get a clunk in the front end every now and then. I've read up a little bit on loose cab mounts but haven't seen anything about a fix.

I’ve looked at several and they all have space in them. I put an extra piece of rubber under the transmission/transfer case mount and it stopped some of the shaking I’m experiencing with my truck. It’s kinda like the motor and transmission are balanced and just floating in the frame. I picked the transfer case up about 2 inches by hand. That doesn’t seem right to me. But “That’s how they are”.

Thats proper for the body mounts
