Frequent regens (~100 miles); no help from the dealer

Thanks. That is what I thought. They describe the ones available quite well and I did not see a good candidate either. Oh well.
Is the database on the unit updatable? That might be an option.

It is but there is one PID I use that Banks removed for some reason in the more recent versions, so I have not updated. Can't remember off the top of my head which PID that is.

The average time and distance between regen PIDs are standard SAE PIDs. The last active regen PID is specific to Dodge/Ram. I downloaded the available Dodge/Ram manufacture specific PIDs that were available through OBDLink using the OBDLink App. Not sure how the iDash works, but I think it would be similar.
Found it! Thank you. I looked for a “miles since regen” but didn’t find one. Did I miss it?

You can monitor this PID, which tells you the hours since last active regen.
That PID does not work on my 201t6 1500 Eco or my 2020 3500 HO. The miles since the last regen PID doesn't work either. Sure you can add it, but it will not work.

Great. See attached for what comes up when I search for regen. The only PID related to miles is average distance (miles) between regens, which I found is not accurate. I have also attached the dashboard I recently set up to monitor regen/DPF info.

Not sure why that PID (time since last active regen) will not work on your 3500. I have a 2021 3500 SO and it works. I have attached the PID details again to ensure we are talking about the same PID.
