Hey all. So this may seem stupid ... I’ve installed the fog lights into the bumper, left the wire in the back seat and taken the truck to the dealership to finish the install. They told me that it can’t be done because I’m missing the wire for the plug in to the body harness so it can’t be done ... does that make sense to you all? I have a 19 big horn 2500 6.4 gasser. Thanks for the help guys !

Are they OEM lights and do you have auxiliary switches?

I am not sure if you have seen it but there is a thread dealing with fog lamp installation in "modifications and accessories" you might find some answers and try posting your questions there.

sounds like you don't have the pigtail off the bcm harness to run factory fogs. you'll have to run a separate switch or utilize an aux switch, if you have those.

check out the thread mentioned above. tons of info.

In the dealer’s eyes, it can’t be done because of exactly what they said - the circuits are not present in the left dash harness. Since there’s no such mopar kit for fog lamps for the 2019+ HD Rams, they would think they have to replace the entire left dash harness to gain those circuits. The REALITY is- it is very simple to just add those circuits to the BCM, and have factory functioning fogs. This thread has those details- https://hdrams.com/forum/index.php?threads/fog-light-for-2019-tradesman.431/
