Foam door cup holders

This is my first dodge, so I have no experience but the foam cup holders in the doors. I saw they were an option on some 2019 and have been in years past. My tradesman does not have them but have the large door compartment your feet. Do you all find these useful? I’m not really looking for another place to put a drink but for like a cup to throw change into etc. Amazon sells the 2018 cup holder for around $20.00 a pair. Do they hold up? I guess the “foam” part has me confused. Thanks in advance.
 
i actually ran across those amazon units and bought a set yesterday. funny you posted about those.
 
Let me know if they work and how you like them. I’m on vacation so I won’t look to order until I return home. I did not know they were available but I was messing around and checking out a power wagon online and it mentioned them. I think they will come in handy.
 
I use mine all the time on trips. You finish a bottle of water or cup of coffee and throw it in there to make room for another on the console. Spare water for later. Whatever.

I've had these in my last two Rams. I leave spare bottles of water and stuff in them all the time. Really handy, right in reach when you think about it.
 
I will have a set soon. I was thinking it was a rather large storage area in the door but this being my first Ram I didn’t know why. Thanks guys for the feedback.

Use mine for lots and lots of keys.
 
I really like mine a lot since I just have the fold down console. Since the price tag on these is so cheap, I’m surprised They are not standard on all models from Ram. It still amazes me how many options, trim codes Ram has. The more I’m around these trucks the more I wish I knew when I bought mine.

My Laramie only came standard with a drivers side foam cup holder but I told my sm that if he didn't gank one from another truck I would ( for the pass. Side). He had laughed and said rich you can't do that and my response was then you better. It showed up
 
Hmmm... My 2019 Laramie came with both. Maybe the difference between Level 1 and Level 2? Seems cheap, but then...

Dont get me started Dr bob. Apparently the 19s came more loaded than the 20s with the exception of the 50 gal fuel tank availability that is. 19s also came with a cd player. They just found a way that they could jack up prices and cut back on accessories, i agree, i can't let the cd player thing go i know. But you figure in 20 that they cut out the pass. Side cup holder wich probably cost them penny's to mold and then they upped there price on the l1 and l2 pkgs by $200 × millions of trucks , thats a major profit. An that don't even count there savings on a real expense savings like the cd player. See now you got me going. o_O
