got a 19 cummins. Is it worth getting a Fluid Damper, since stock is also viscous as well?

I don’t see the benefit to one on a truck that already has one. They were worth it on the earlier trucks with the rubber that would walk out especially when you started adding some RPM’s for pulling or drag racing.

Yeah. Sooo I just realized it was viscous when I took it off. I feel like I wasted my money.

I ran both a stock 6.7 damper and a fluid damper on my 5.9. Both were vast improvements over the OE 5.9 one, but the fluidamper was better. Not sure it would be worth the cost on a 6.7, but it should make a difference.

Thanks. Yeah it’s on the truck now. My butt syno says it runs a little smoother. Probably a placebo effect. It’s a much slimmer design. Putting the belt on was super easy
