Hey what's going on folks. First time Ram owner after being a Ford guy most of my life. I am also a first time 3/4 ton owner since I have always had F150's but I will be doing more towing now and wanted some more beef. I went with the gas over the diesel after weighing the options. I am new to the site and hope to learn a lot and meet some cool folks while I am here. I have added a pin stripe so far but my next move will be tires and wheels. The Firestone Hwy tread are not going to cut it. Hope to get some good ideas too and learn from anyone who has been through it already. Probably looking 33x12.50's on a 20" rim so I don't have to raise the truck. Any input or pics of what you have done to yours close to that would be more then welcome!

You can fit 35s without lifting! Welcome!
Hey thanks for the welcome. Do you happen to know what would be the largest size tire I could go on a 18x9 in rim with no lift and on a 20x9 inch rim without lift? I would love to see some picture options. I am old school. I will go back with a Chrome rim more then likely and an AT tire. I hate the Firestone HT's that came on it. No traction...

Custom offsets website. They have a gallery where you can put in the parameters you want to see and see examples, and if things rub or not. Pretty much any 35x12.5 wide tire will fit without issue as long as you have a reasonable offset. I run a 325/65r18 on +12 offset and it doesn’t rub anywhere, it is close to 13 wide. I have a leveling kit, but the points where things would rub would not be helped by most lift kits out there due to the setup of the radius arm and that pinch weld on the back of the well.

Thanks for the info! I appreciate it.

Welcome. Nice color! And I run 35" with no rubbing at all. Best size IMO doesn't mess with your speedo and gives it a great look and capability.

Welcome! I am another convert from Ford, love the color of your new truck!
