Finally pulled the trigger

Been lurking for awhile and finally decided to pull the trigger on a 2020 RAM Megacab 6.7. It is a late model 2020 with the newer CP4, 6500 miles on the truck when i bought a week ago. The recent recall made me feel better about picking up a CP4 truck, i feel like RAM will make it right down the road.

I traded a very nice 2019 Tundra 1794 in for this RAM, i absolutely loved my Tundra and never had an issue with it but have wanted a RAM HD truck for awhile now and buying a bumper pull camper a year ago kinda sealed the deal for me. This was a huge leap for me as I was super hesitant about buying this truck but my father in law and a work buddy both have RAM HD’s and have had no issues with them. The Tundra actually pulled my camper ok with a WDH but i did not like the wind pushing me around and i did not like listening to RPM’s scream while going up hills. I have not pulled with the RAM yet and can’t wait to.

After driving this truck around for a week i am in love with this truck! I thought i would miss my Tundra but this RAM is freaking incredible. Smooth ride, tons of power, great fuel mileage so far, great interior and just a beautiful truck all around. There are only two things i don’t like about the truck, the passenger mirror is tough to get a good view of cars next to me, and the steering wheel does not telescope. These are things i can live with or just get used to because everything else is awesome.

Beautiful truck! As far as the mirrors go.... I leave mine flipped up in trailer mode all the time, partly because I tow most of the miles on the truck and partly because I feel like I can just see out of them much better that way. I know most will make fun of Rams running around with the mirrors flipped up and no trailer behind the truck but with the spotter mirror on the bottom instead of the side I can see all lanes of traffic easily. You might want to give the flipped up tow mirrors a try for awhile.

If you zoom in on that second picture you can see what the view looks like through the passenger side mirror.

I will try that out I have not driven the truck with the mirrors flipped out yet. Fixing to drive from Texas to NC to visit family so will be the perfect time to try it out.
