Finally Here!!! 3500 SRW HO

SRW for a HO motor? Hhmmm...

I do like my HO DRW truck. This is the day I brought it home. I need to wash it and get current photos. Just slight changes, but still.

Why post this in another members truck post?

What do you mean SRW with an HO??? It's all about the power baby. And I don't have 6 tires to replace when I need new ones. I don't plan on becoming a car transport company.

And the Aisin trans...

IMHO DRW also sucks in the snow, and is hard to go hunting with if you have to run any fire lanes...etc.

Wish I could afford both, but that's not the case.

@another_AO That's a beautiful truck and I'm jealous of the color. If they had the Night/blackout edition when I ordered my Granite truck in Jan I might have reconsidered my aversion to maintaining painted bumpers with the winter road conditions here (gravel for traction). The Aisin isn't quite as smooth as the 68RFE, and it's not tunable, but it's a bulletproof setup and you made a great choice.

Nothing about you Phil

I was asking rv_goose why he would post a pic of his truck in this members truck pic post...

I should have clarified.

Oh. I thought I said something wrong and didn't want to be taken out of context.

After having a smaller truck not capable of towing well, it was all about the power!- wanted to be way sure, went for the HO. Took the new truck out yesterday for a tester run with my small bumper pull trailer. Was amazing to pull, cant wait to get my next trailer. I know it wouldn't have made a difference empty or loaded at that weight, just sailed down the highway.

I meant it light hearted. But as usual for me the thoughts in my head didn't transfer to text well.
Totally was light hearted, they are all beautiful trucks. Love the forums I am learning so much and its thanks to Ya'll on here my order and purchase went as well as it did!!

@brutal Thank you! For the colors, I was so happy it was available as not only do I think it looks stunning, but it's totally me lol. For people that know me, personal/professional in the office, etc. Im in black/grey whenever...before Labor Day/after, no matter. Although I dont have the snow/gravel worries in my area (much to my dismay), I am still going to look into additional painted bumper and front hood protection- maybe clear bra install. I have this site and forum to thank for learning so much even before my order. And of course, gratitude to my husband for letting me go all out with it.

You made a great decision and the more you drive it the more you will realize it. I did the same thing, really don't need the HO but wanted the Aisin. Don't really need the Aisin but wanted a bulletproof, dependable and capable tranny. Now, like you, I have the best and was worth every penny.
