Fender Flare recommendations please.....

OEM type flares would be the maximum I'd go with my 33" stock tires.

Can anyone post pics WITH weathertech mud flaps? And is it true SRW flares fit the DRW bed just the same?
How much tire do the Powerwagon flares cover? I'm heavily leaning going that route on my 25 dually.

You'd have to cut the mud flaps. You'd want to start with the factory flare style flaps, as they stick out further. There's no guarantee it will look good. I haven't tried it yet.

The only other good options I see is if you have a dually, you can get the standard billboard style for the rear. And AEV makes a molded set of rubber mats for the front with large flares.

No one else makes mud flaps specifically for trucks with "power wagon" or larger flares. Seems awfully stupid to me that mopar doesn't even support Rebels/PW's since those are some of the highest dollar trims, and their owners are obviously probably just pavement pounders.

Thanks, agreed, insane Mopar doesn't support them. I will report back if I come up with a solution.

Doesn't the fender paint get chaffed where the flare rubber makes contact? My current older Ram has double face tape around the entire OEM flares. Looking for painted OEM or similar to fit a 2026.

I did what the other guy did and used PPF. Here's a tutorial if you need it:

Thank you. Is it possible to use double face tape on the rubber where it contacts the fender? They use it to hold the rubber to the flare so I would think it should stick?

I've often wondered about the PW flares. What is the notch at the top center for? Did they originally plan to offer lights there like GMC till the bean counters got involved?

The tape will just make flare removal that much more difficult. I prefer to take them off once a year and clean out the silt & sand now that I know how much accumulates back there.

I bit the bullet and tried the Weathertech OEM flare version of mud flaps. I put Power Wagon/Rebel flares on my dually. I had to modify the flaps, but I'm happy with the results!

Stock sized wheels and tires. No flares needed.
Needed? No, but looks better with flares. Seems Ram removed them from Laramie during the parts shortages a few years back and then they never returned. Even used to be on the Outdoorsman and in 2 tone paint. If cost is an issue, then just make it an option.

I don't see a single person in this thread talking about stock wheels or tires. What are you going on about?
Here ya go. From bighoof, post #56.
