I am having the FASS two filter system put on my truck tomorrow, has anyone had this installed and if so, thoughts?

It is a terrible thing not to know everyrhing from the start like some.....no one like me to ask stupid questions and be made fun of, what would others have to do with their time.
 
Well I would say Welcome! ... but you probably don't feel that just right now.
Hopefully you find other useful information, and answers to other questions you may have. I would say this forum might be a little rougher around the edges than some, but I have found a lot of really great information. In fact, one of the best forums for knowledgeable members.

hey, buy and learn. it happens. next time your thinking about a mod of some sort, Google *insert mod here* and put "forum" after it. then grab a beverage and start reading.

the fass system isn't going to hurt anything, and filter changes are easier, so youvdo have that!

And people like you everywhere. You said "I bought this" and asked opinions. You did not get the desired supportive response and now you are upset. Happens all the time.

It was a failry cheap expense that wasn't really necessary or going to provide the benefit sought.

I know a fellow near me that just spend $60k on a new truck (150/1500), and a new camper for $40k. To find that his new truck is too small to haul the new camper. So do not feel bad. You spent very little in comparison.

Not in my experience.
I like spirited debate and there is plenty of that here. I almost got booted off another forum last year because I engaged in a spirited debate where I corrected another user who was spreading wrong and even dangerous information. The information I shared was correct, the other user knew it but they edited all their posts to remove all of their wrong information, then complained to the mods. The mods warned me that my comments weren't "friendly" enough.
Also, many other forums allow zero "colorful language" whereas here some is allowed as long as it isn't directly against another user.

By those comparisons, this forum is not tame. But, again, I like this better, and I told the other forum mods so.

I love this forum, lots of knowledge and very few snowflakes ❄️ except in the winter pictures thread....
 
Don’t feel bad, you can always send the thing back and if not just hold onto it in case the lift pump fails. I’ve had a Borla exhaust system sitting in a box for 6 months now and can’t make up my mind weather I am even going to use it, I’m getting to the age where I am thinking that quiet stock exhaust isn’t a bad thing.
