Falken WildPeak AT3 285/65/20

If Jimmy makes a proper bypass cable do I still have to pull the gauge cluster? How much?

I can send back but if I don’t come up with much more that I want to do with AlphaODB I may just live with the variance if I have to pull all that apart.

With a proper cable, you only pull the headlight switch panel as shown in the link.

The cable is plugging into the CAN blocks, The 1500 style plug plugs into the actual SGW. On an HD that SGW is behind the cluster. On a 1500 it's by the steering column (as I recall).

Lots you can do with AlfaOBD. Change DRL location, fog light dropout, enable cluster gear indicator, just to name a few. If you ever add an option, enable it. Etc.

That said, I see you're using iPhone (your tapa sig). AlfaOBD is only Android or Windows.

I am at 37k miles on my stock Firestones - was thinking of going to a 295/60/20 which is what I had on my 2015. Those were Toyos, and definitely had road noise. My brother vouches for these Falkens too. I just can't believe how expensive tires are now.

Can 35x12.5x20 fit on our trucks without a lift? (19 2500)

Also, I was not aware there was a way to adjust things like tire size on a Dodge. Definitely going to have to look into that.

Just posting for others to reference what it looks like, I had trouble finding pics of these on stock truck, no leveling or lift. Tires are slightly taller, same width. Have used these tires on several trucks and have been happy.

I just ordered the cable from kaodtech. Not sure if I can send the other brick back but if not it’s not a big deal.

I’ll be using a windows tablet I have for this so should be fine. Thanks for the pointer.

A pic of my stock truck on 285/65/20 AT3’s. Awesome in the snow/ice compared to the stock tires.
