Anyone run the wild peak at4’s? My truck came with 20” rims so I run 295/65/20

been running AT3s for awhile now and recently replaced the front tires with the AT4s...no issues yet. Wild Peaks have long been some of the best bang for the $$$ for an AT tire.
 
AT4's are said to be less than AT3's in the snow. That's about it so if snow/hardpack/ice is in play, I'd think about them long and hard.

I'm tempted to try to find a set of AT3's even if I have to eat a year of time from them, as I don't yet need a set, but will in a year or 2. Mine don't seem to be wearing as well as most. Only 20K but almost all heavy tow.

Maybe that's why I hated them so much. I've never slid around so much on snow and ice as I did with the AT4's. I like to take the dirt roads in the winter when they're just basically ice roads, less road salt to deal with. Been driving the same roads for 20 years and never had traction issues with any other tire.

The AT4's never had traction though. Plowing snow was also a frustrating experience.
 
Iv had my set for about a year and I am a bit disappointed with them in the snow. In my opinion they're terrible on hard packed snow, okay in fresher 1-2ft deep, and lackluster in wet slop thats around the same depth. Granted I must say this is my first 3/4 ton coming from a 1/2 ton and I know weight plays a pretty big role. The road noise is not bad and they do tow well.
I had the Ultra terrains on my 1/2 ton and they were hands down the best tire I've ever owned. I'd buy them again but they don't offer a 35 for an 18" wheel.
 
I had the A/T3W on my 1500 and hated them. Tread lasted 12k miles, Discount Tire used the 50k mile warranty. Went with Goodyear Wranglers, then 6 months later bought my current truck :p
 
I will let you all know how these AT4s do this winter here in Missouri, It was not my first choice of tire but was more a last minute decision because Discount would not install the 35x12.5s that I wanted, because they were "to wide" for the stock rims. But so far they are riding pretty good, not to loud and rides a lot smoother then the tires that were on it before.

Just fitted 275/65/R20 AT4, see what they are like this winter up in Canada. Friend has them on his 1 ton and said they were fine once you add weight in the rear .

I went with “skinnies” as well. Not Falkens but 275/65/20. Happy so far.
