Factory Tonneau Cover?

Does anybody here have any experience or pictures of a HD with the factory Tonneau cover?

Getting one from the factory at $695 is certainly cheaper than the ones I was looking to add after market by at least a 1/3, but I'm wondering about water proofing and security?

I included one on the truck I ordered. It's likely going to be a few weeks, but I'll post some pictures when I get it.

As far as waterproofing goes, I believe they are very good. My friend at the dealership has one on her demo and reports she never has water in the bed. It should be more than adequate to keep luggage and related items dry while traveling.

As far as security goes, I guess that's all relative. I mean, you have to put the tailgate down to unhinge the cover to get it to flip so locking the tailgate keeps someone from doing that. However, obviously if someone wanted in there they could simply use a knife to cut through the cover. I guess it depends on what level of "security" you're after.

Wait, is it fabric? I guess that would explain the price point...

I took mine off and sold it to a guy at my work. I have the BakFlip MX4 on its way to my house.

Will the stock cover from Mopar fit any brand truck with same length bed??

I'm not sure. The Mopar cover has clamps that are specific to the sides of the Ram.
