Laramie 2500 4x4 with RAM Air Suspension. Purchased a fifth wheel hitch weight 1,595 lbs. mind you the fifth wheel is empty as I am driving it from the dealer to the house my 2500 flags “Air suspension temporarily disabled” then “Service Air Suspension Immediately”. Finally make it home and schedule service appointment. Dealer kept 2500 for a couple of days and says all it needed was a system update. Worked fine for about a week then 2500 flags again “Service Air Suspension Immediately”. Grant it I haven’t pulled or hauled anything. Schedule another service appointment. Dealer keeps it for a week and an half. This time they replaced sensor and module. The next day just for fun I hit the auto level and it flags “adjustment limited due to payload” and “service air suspension immediately. Take it back another week and a half they say it is the compressor. A week later I call for an update and the say the issue are the systems lines that got pinched in between the bed and the frame. To fix it would not be covered under warranty. That I must have modified and had the lines rerouted as the lines are not routed like that. The only modification is a bed cover and Andersen hitch.. Told the dealer thats how it came from the factory and it could have been due to the failure of the air suspension. Dealer said the lines are not routed that way from the factory. Then told dealer might have been their mechanics since they replaced sensors, modules and the components. Anyone experience similar? Thinking of Arbitration. Thoughts.
