Has anyone heard of a way to fix a DRL that is out? All other lights are operational, just the Right DRL is gone. I looked at Mopars site and the assembly is anywhere from 1500 to 2800. Screw that noise! And I dont trust aftermarket... So, there has got to be some electrical savvy folks on here that know how to repair this.

I’ve seen a bunch of rams with DRLs partially burnt out. It’s especially noticeable when they’re partial. If you’re under warranty I would try to get it replaced but you may have mixed luck.

Wife’s Mazda had a DRL go out and the dealership said “bulbs aren’t covered under warranty” even though we had the platinum warranty and DRL are not “bulbs” and they’re a safety feature etc. we obviously fought them tooth and nail and didn’t get anywhere so we paid the $1400 to have it replaced. The other side went out about 5 months later. We also noticed a lot of Mazdas with them burnt out on the road. we went ahead and paid to get it replaced as well. About a year later Mazda put out a recall and we got reimbursed fully since we already paid to have it done.
