Eye Candy

Yeah..it started only to pre-emptively deal with the hydraulic lifter issue then it just opened a can of worms after seeing what was entailed to do that conversion. Heck, then I figured since the topend will be opened up might as well do do some upgrades. Turbos, injectors (60% over) , pump (10mmm stroker), steed speed manifold and some valve train upgrades to handle the power upgrades. You can't do the other without doing other supporting mods right? ( I tell myselfnl that as i try to rationalize that to myself). I think I bit more off that I can chew. Hah..this truck is turning into a money pit..i think after said and done, the truck should hit around 750hp+ with the proper tuning. Now I'm planning reworking exhaust and re-plumming coolant lines for the 2G conversion.

No concerns over the claim that the CGI block is weaker is key areas than the grey iron blocks?

750hp seems very conservative? Seeing stock tuned ones hitting 550hp

Conservative cause I tow heavy moving equipment around..I know I can go higher with a maximum effort tune..then I'd be dealing with high egts...plus being a dually..there's going to be parasitic loss cause of my bigger wheels.
I'm also thinking of doing a water to air intercooler of some kind or an interchiller since I don't have to add water for everyday use. Not sure yet.

Aaaa yes that makes sense.
Well I for one cant wait to see the end product, keep the updates coming and photos too.

all buttoned up...relocated secondary battery and had to use a small moroso coolant tank. I originally had a WCFab one that supposedly gave clearance for compounds but it didnt fit with the manifold turbo. It is tight in this area. I also had to use a pacbrake remote oil filter so I can change oil. I also threw in a FluiDampr to keep vibrations in check. Now just waiting on tunes to comeback.
Stay tuned, I'll be having a garage sale for my Stealth Mach1 VGT turbo from Calibrated Power, evilfab manifold, an extra blank ECM, RaceMe/MM3 tuner (just need a new license), WC Fab aluminum Coolant tank in Red and a Bench Force kit.
