Does anyone know what this extra hole in the wheel is? It’s approx 19mm (3/4”). I intend to fill it with aluminum epoxy before painting but if it’s some harmonic balancing hole or something I’ll pass. Thanks in advance.
Not sure why it is there on the newer rims. On my old duallies there was a locator pin on the rear axles and you had to align the rims with the pin so that the valve stems where opposite of each other. My old duallies have coined lug centric wheels and the newer ones are hub centric.

The ones on the truck now are open so I’m just gonna fill it. These are 2019 wheels I found for cheap that I’m refinishing for a 2022. Thank you for the info!
