This is how implausible it would be for a dealer to remove ACC from your truck (let alone the evidence from the build sheet that your truck never even had it:The ACC was on this truck because I used it. That’s how I know it was there. I just need help finding evidence of anything else to look for if any they only took the controls and harness.
- They would have had to removed the right steering wheel switch and swapped it out with the regular cruise control switch (yours looks exactly like every other regular cruise control switch)
- You don’t have a windshield that supports ACC, so they would have had to swap out the windshield, rear view mirror, and mirror covers for the ones you have in your pic.
- After the alleged removal of ACC, they would have had to configure the sales code out of the BCM, otherwise regular cruise control won’t work. This is impossible for the dealership to do because that type of BCM configuration is not available for them to perform.
- They would also have had to configure the BCM for the different location of the auto high beam module to the mirror instead of the DASM, otherwise your auto high beams won’t work. This is impossible for the dealership to do because that type of BCM configuration is not available for them to perform.
The above reasons about BCM configuration are the same reason that it would have been impossible for a dealership to add ACC to the truck after the fact.
Even if you think the build sheet is wrong, and it somehow came from the factory with ACC, that package also always includes lane assist. So that would mean you should also have the lane assist button to the left of your hazard switch above your 12” screen:
