EOBD/Injection System Failure

My family's out of town with the truck on trip and I got an alert from the RAM app of a Powertrain Malfunction-EOBD/Injection System Failure. I'm told the truck is running fine and there's no check engine lights lit up on the dash. Any idea of what it could be and if they'll have any issues making back home (about 90 miles)? Thanks!

Should have added it's a 2022 3500 HO Cummins.

That would trigger a CEL for sure. I would not worry about it. These trucks are strange.

Anything you get on the ram app i would disregard they seem to be a crapshoot with errors

I just had the same error on my RAM App this morning. I have 523 miles on the truck. It seems to be running fine and I am out of town (away from my home dealership). Is anyone else getting this error code? I previously had a 5th Gen 1500 Eco-diesel, and this same error was a known issue on those forums. I'm new to the Heavy Duty Rams.

What a coincidence, I had the same notification this morning(November 15, 2023) from Ram app saying that "POWERTRAIN - Engine Malfunction", EOBD/INJECTION SYSTEM FAILURE" on my first and only New 2023 RAM 3500 Dually H.O. Diesel with only 4,050 miles on the odometer. I went on a short test drive and everything seems to be in the norm, shifting smooth on the gears, and reverse as well. The engine light on the dashboard never stayed illuminated after starting the vehicle twice during the test run. I concluded that all is well and back to enjoying the view and relaxing in the desert campsite.
