Hmm. What option box do you have to check to get agm’s?
Anyone else get agm in their 4.5 gen trucks from the factory?
I checked the part number on the picture he posted and they are flooded cell batteries.I certainly didn’t find it, even with the cold weather group and dual alternators.
Never heard of any Ram HD coming with AGM.You’re incorrect. When I worked at FCA we had two different types of batteries on the production line. Flooded lead acid and AGM’s. Depends how you order your vehicle
Never heard of it or seen the option.Hmm. What option box do you have to check to get agm’s?

Well… I was wrong with my statement. Just found out that the original batteries installed in my truck were not AGM batteries. I guess they are sealed lead acid batteries. Looked like AGM’s to me but I have not much experience with batteries. I returned my original batteries to the store for core refund and the mechanic corrected me.Hmm. No problem, hopefully the new batteries solve your issue and last for many years!Well… I was wrong with my statement. Did the exact same thing. Originals lasted 2.5 years.I bought two AGM batteries from Costco. Reasonable price and warranty. Also if there is an issue a Costco is not far away.
I just had to replace my batteries on a 2023 , 1.5 years old .It’s -22 degree Fahrenheit. And yes I never had that problem with cold temps before. Just have a hard time believing that the batteries only last 4 years. But then times and the quality of batteries have changed.
Got new batteries now and all seems to be working fineI just had to replace my batteries on a 2023 , 1.5 years old .
Yup. A battery can read full voltage and still be a bad battery that won't provide enough amp current to crank an engine. This is why you need a battery load tester, cheap at the Walmart.Likely batteries. Because they read 12.65V doesn't mean they would provide enough cranking amps.
