Both reliable manual is nice for a faster shift thats about the only big difference to me i have the electronic i have had mostly manual shifts in the past.

I like manual shift because i think it’s faster, and you can feel it engage. No waiting around, just snatch it in. You still have to wait for the front axle to engage but I believe you’re still in business faster.

I think both are plenty reliable, but I like the “feel” of manually shifting it.
I like my bench seat, it feels “truckish “... but the full center console you can get with the e-shifter is quite nice.

My last truck had electric transfer case shifter, it was hard to see (down by your knee) and right next to the headlight switch of identical size, and there was no indicator on the dashboard. That kind of soured electronic t-case shifters for me, though I’m guessing there won’t be many more new vehicles made with manual shift

My 05 manual shift has no indication if its engaged on the dash i have forgotten it on more than i care to admit only remembered it was on when turning on pavement

Where do the axle locker buttons move to when you get the electronic shift transfer case? It looks like the ones around the shifter puck are replaced with the 4wd, 4wd low, and 2wd buttons.

The render of the interior I saw on Ram's build site was incorrect, I see. They must have swapped in the wrong image for the puck and buttons when adding that option to a non-75th anniversary build.

Seeing the two version next to each other, I like the icons I get on the regular power wagon better, with the little padlocks. Minor thing.

I agree the padlocks are cute, I dig them. I like the floor shift / button layout better as well.

It's definitely a little crowded, but I don't mind. This isn't my primary 4wd vehicle, that one has a manual transfer case (soon to be two) and always locked.

Two is better. You’ll love it

Probably doing a Dana 300 with my current 231 as the doubler. That will give me FWD, RWD, 4WD, high, low, and low low. I like this better rush the typical Toyota triple stick because I'll be able to do front digs.

Back on topic, my electronic transfer case works great in the truck. I played with it some this morning.
