I purchased 2024 ram 3500 Bighorn in May 2024. Last week truck caught fire. Fire appeared to start behind center of Dash. Was wondering if anybody had or knew of anybody that had same issue? Thanks in advance.

First, sorry for your loss. That was a pretty color.
I've not heard or read of any problems like this. Have you modified the truck in any way, such as installing a dash cam? Or did you have something with a high current draw plugged in to the cigarette outlet on top of the dash?

Trying to think of anything in that area that could generate enough heat to become an ignition source.

In today’s episode of Dont Give Insurers An Excuse we cover “Things not to put in writing “…

Sorry for your loss! Didn't mean to take to take your post lightly, there is another board member that is at their witts end with DPF issues. The only fire issue I remember reading about is the grid heater relay in the engine bay.

There were no modifications nothing added factory stock. Nothing plugged in thank you for your post. Just trying to find out if there’s any other issues like mine out there.
