Since there doesn't appear to be any really good iDash mounting solutions for our trucks that either A doesn't require a windshield mount or B cause you to lose the handle with more than 1 Gauge; I cooked up my own solution using a mount for the Edge CTS and the Banks dual pod suction cup mount.
Being that I have a tinted windshield and I use a sun screen (South Texas is brutal) I wanted something out of the way, but I didn't want to give up my handle as I do use it when my back or ankles act up (My body has seen better days). The parts are below :
Moonlight Diesel Edge CTS mount :

Banks Dual Gauge Mount :

The install is very straight forward, use a panel tool to remove the lower bolt cover, then carefully remove the bolt cover's retaining strap for your handle. Once removed the factory bolt has a 10MM head, remove it, put the mount in place, then attach with the included 8MM head bolt. Don't go over kill on this bolt, I put on some blue locktight and went fairly tight, but kept in mind this is a plastic part. To get the banks gauge pod to stay put I had to put a couple layers of tesa tape on the ball to increase tension, but I imagine YMMV due to manufacturing tolerances of the plastic mount. I wrapped my Banks wires in tesa tape to clean them up a little as there is the OBD2 cable, the splitter cable, and the cable going to my Pedal Monster. I might eventually add some mesh cable sleeving and rattle can the pillar mount black for an even cleaner look, but that will have to wait until it's not so cold (by Texas standards).
