Dropping driveshaft for Carli 2.5 lift installation

I personally wouldn’t reuse head bolts or anything in the head such as exhaust manifold bolts/studs. Under the truck only thing I don’t reuse is U-bolts unless I can’t avoid it at the time.

Ill reuse any bolts that are not TTY or noted one time use in the specs such as u bolts

If its NA it gets the original bolts if its forced induction i almost always just swap out to head studs

Ok well i was just going off of your question. No driveshaft bolts in the history of man were “one time use”.

BTW - Pretty sure that lug nut torque should be 130 ft/lbs for a truck with cone lug nuts. Fanged lug nuts are 140 ft/lbs

I couldn’t remember if it was 130 or 140 so I did 135

I did not remove the driveshaft, but did have to prevent the axle from shifting forward out of the slip yoke with ratchet straps.
