Drop in liner

I worked dealerships for 6yrs. I've see what the drop in liners do to paint. I've had DIY, lineX and no name professional. DIY was junk but I didn't install that one.. LineX peeled but that was a 1920 visible gas pump base. They fixed it. This no name local guy charged me $450 to spray mine and its pretty nice. Several others in my circle have used him with favorable outcomes. Either way I would recommend a spray in as the best choice. If for no other reason than just the resale value standpoint on a $60k investment.

I went with a Bedrug in my 2008 after having spray-in in my previous truck. Will never have another truck without a bedrug. Stuff doesn’t slide around, dirt does get caught in the gap in the tailgate, padded if you have to crawl up there, etc. Keep in mind, my trucks have a topper, so YMMV if that’s not part of your config.

I have a bedrug as well, but also could use the bedrug mat in conjunction with spray liner.

Any of you try the DIY spray on bedliner like U-POL Raptor? Were you happy you did it and pleased with the results, or was it a total PITA and you wished you just went to Line-X?
I did the U-Pol spray in on my long bed a few months ago. It’s the first one I ever did and everyone that sees it thinks it’s factory. So far I’d say it’s a good product for the money but time will tell on the long term durability. There are many factors to consider but my truck is just a tow pig pavement princess so it’ll probably look brand new many years from now. I also have a climate controlled shop and a rotary screw compressor so projects like this are easy to knock out. A69C64D4-7E8D-43E5-8C76-5BB4A89D11A4.jpeg74D98D7C-B27F-4B0A-8D11-34F3BFA890DB.jpeg
