Mopar as of now is not selling drop in bed liners for my 2020 2500. They have no idea how long it will take to get them. So I assume they are made in China. Anyway what aftermarket liner would you suggest?

I would do a rubber bed mat before a plastic liner. thats just me. I did a full liner AND a rubber mat.

With the spray liner. My friend told me he thrown a shovel in his and the liner chipped

It's a man made product which is susceptible to being damaged, like a drop in liner, especially if not installed well to begin with. Line-X does have a lifetime warranty good across the dealer network. I was installing Rugged Liner back when the company was still Colonel's. Have used the Bed Rug along with Line-X plus OEM spray in liners. We had a Ford with Line-X used five years in a roofing business. Never any issues to speak of.

I had a line x spray in done to a truck back in 2003, still have that truck, and still no issues. Exposed it to chemicals, abrasion, etc, and still no flaws. Good stuff.

Just put a Duraliner drop-in liner in my 2020 HD. Fits perfectly and cost $199. I'm happy with it.

I looked at their website and there is no drop in liner for 2500HD. I can only find one for 1500

Brought and had installed at AutoExtra in San Antonio, Tx., and perfect fit. Strange their website says that.

The drop-in bedliners vibrate and wear the paint off the bed on my trucks. So put a bedliner mat between the bed and the bedliner if you go that route.

I had a Rhino liner sprayed onto my 2013 Ram 2500. Shoveled gravel out of that truck without issue. A concrete block on the tailgate did put a couple of scratches on it.

My 04.5 Line-X over the rail survived 16 years except for the spot on the bed rail that contact a screw on the bottom of the fifth wheel.

Even the ding I made in the tailgate top with the fiver kingpin didn't crack the Line-X.

IMHO, a drop in liner lowers the trade/sale value of a truck due to the paint wear - unless new private owner doesn't care because they're going to spray it. If you live in a rust belt, then it's even worse.

I have factory spray in liner and really like it. Do you guys know what OEM used?

Equivalent to Line-X, same company basically.

Maybe a little thinner than a Line-X dealer would apply.

My biggest complaint is these dumb plastic bedrail covers. My over the rail 04.5 was awesome. Can't even take these stupid covers off to have it sprayed unless you have the holes filled.

Any of you try the DIY spray on bedliner like U-POL Raptor? Were you happy you did it and pleased with the results, or was it a total PITA and you wished you just went to Line-X?

From what I have seen from most diy liners, you will be much happier with commercial spray in liners. They do them constantly and have the proper equipment, etc. Save your money and go the line x route.

Buy once, cry once.

But I'm a cheap bastard bozo. Guess I might try DIY once and possibly cry twice.
