Dreaded P0299

I recently installed the banks monster intake system to get rid of the chance the grid heater bolt to break off and for performance, and got the dreaded p0299 code, i did the basics and replaced the air filter and cleared the code and it came back after about 30 of driving.

check for boost leaks and if you did the CAI, then make sure ALL of those band clamps are super tight.

Best bet is to remove the Banks paper weight and get your thousand dollars back.

It’s a known issue, and they don’t have a fix for it.

It can be either the delete plenum gasket or the throttle valve one since thess are the areas you touched. Or you can even call Banks tech support
