DPF on Tuning

Yes I like what I have read about Calibrated. Definitely my preference. Firepunk has some good YouTube though.

I just ordered from CP this week. '19 3500 w/68RFE. Honestly biggest reason was the trans tuning over any potential power gains. I don't have the product yet, have had some email and couple phone calls with CP and they have been great. I ordered on Wednesday, have shipping info in email before the day was over and should have the EZ lynk I'd guess sometime in a week or less.

Any updates?

Hi - I've posted some updates but it was in a different thread sorry. I've got nothing but good things to say. Installation was a breeze, 20 minutes from opening box to tune installed. I've switched between several tunes as well as have had several questions answered promptly from Calibrated Power (just to share their customer service, its been fantastic). The tune I have settled on for now until doing the 68RFE valve body upgrade is the "Light Tow with higher shift points". I've driven my normal routine and can say the difference is noticeable. The truck is much smoother with acceleration and response - especially when accelerating on to freeway, or climbing hills (I live in a pretty rural area that has lots of hills). Its also very early, only about 1/2 tank driven on this tune, but for what its worth the MPG is up to 17.1 where my "normal" for these driving conditions sits closer to 16.4-16.6mpg.

So - so far so good. I did try the "Sport" tune just for grins and you can REALLY tell a difference on that one - especially when you put your foot into it! One of the questions I had to Calibrated was how hard was that pushing the drive train to its limits. I have no desire to push anything to a breaking point, I plan to have this truck a long time. Their response was "You will not be stressing out components, we have plenty of room left before we start hurting the truck. So you are safe with the tune files."

Anyway hope that helps!

I just picked up my 2500, curious to know how you're doing with the tune. Still happy?
