DPF INJECTOR ISSUES

<div class="bbWrapper">My 3500 dually broke the DPF injector at 800 miles. Drained the fluid and triggered low power mode. Got it to the dealer and apparently they put a flimsy plastic injector on the new engines. And there are no replaceme parts available. No eta from service, so my new truck is sitting collecting Ram dust. Anyone else have the same issue.</div>

<div class="bbWrapper">Are you saying your 7th fuel Injector before the DPF broke? What fluid did you drain from it? All the fuel from the line? I can&#039;t see that injector being plastic.</div>

<div class="bbWrapper">No the DPF injector to the exhaust connection is plastic. The injector sprayed the dpf fluid on the ground and the underside of the truck. I offered to have the upgraded metal part delivered to the dealer, but they said that can&#039;t be done due to voiding the warranty.</div>

<div class="bbWrapper">The only fluid sprayed before the DPF is fuel. No way it&#039;s plastic. It&#039;s hot as crap after the turbo right there.</div>

<div class="bbWrapper">I think you mean DEF injector.<br /> <br /> &quot;DPF Injector&quot; on the 2025 would imply the 7th fuel injector. There is no such thing on a pre 25 truck. It wouldn&#039;t be leaking &#039;DPF Fluid,&quot; it would be leaking diesel fuel.<br /> <br /> It&#039;s important when discussing these systems to get the part nomenclature correct. Please educate yourself on this if you&#039;re going to post about it here.</div>
