Hi, I bought a 2023 ram 2500 with 24,000 miles on about 2 months ago. I feel like the dpf system is not working right hoping for some help. I drive 30 miles to work I drive highway speeds all but about 5 miles of it. After the regen is complete I have shut the truck off came back out from work started to drive home and after about 15 miles the dpf filter gauge jumps up to the quarter mark and stays there. Then when I go back to work the next day it will drop down a little but will fluctuate between those to marks and then truck will regen about 150 to 200 miles. Any help would be appreciated.

Check the air filter for starters it should have an orange gasket and the mopar symbol somewhere on it, if not get the proper air filter and it should fix it.

Ok. I looked and it has a brand I never heard of. It's called pronto. And so that would cause the dpf to go into regen about every 100 miles

Ding ding ding! We have a winner.

Just search for all the regen issues on here related to the air filter (I was one of them), not yet sure how or why but it solved my trucks weirdness.

If it has 2 glue strips running down the pleats. It will cause issues.
