Hey guys, just got into my first Ram truck and it’s a deleted 2019 Ram 2500 6.7 Cummins. Don’t know too much about the trucks but I always loved the look of them so I decided to buy one, just wondering if this idle sounds ok or do I have turbo troubles? Pic of my truck and video attached! Any info would be appreciated!

Sounds like you got a bad pulley. Try pulling the serpentine belt off and run it again. You can spin pulleys by hand and see which one is giving you the noise.

Thanks for the tip, the only reason I was thinking could be turbo related is the noise seems to be around the turbo or where the air box is

I’m not there so it’s hard to tell by a video. Could be the fan shroud projecting the noise that way. I think if your turbo sounded like that your motor would have ate most the compressor wheel by now and would have set a related underboost code.

Yes I’m not too sure, boost pressures has been fine. Some are telling me it’s normal on different forums some are suggesting definitely not normal so only way I’ll know I guess is to head to a mechanic

I don’t see a video attachment…
Should be on under the write up on original post. If not there for you here it is again.

Hmm, maybe something with my phone. Did you upload to YouTube then paste a link?
