Im liking that idea. No welding and easy removal. I think would also use the hitch clamp as well.Seems the question has been answered.
side note: I leave my hitch in most of the time even though I don’t tow but once or twice a month. To prevent big clunks and rattles from the hitch over bumps I use composite cabinet shims and tap them in with a rubber mallet to keep the hitch snug. They won’t hold up to towing, they break down from that.
I had to look all over for mine in my 2021. Some people said to check the coolers in the back. Wasn’t there. I finally found it under the back seat after lifting them up.Odd, my new 2019 didn't come with it. Dealer must have five fingered it...
my 2022 ram laramie 2500 came with the adapter. The adaptor has a bolt underneath it to prevent it from rattling.Does the Ram HD's come with the 2 1/2 inch to 2 inch hitch adapter?
Yup I forgot to reply to this once I took delivery of my truck but mine was underneath the back seat on the drivers side.my 2022 ram laramie 2500 came with the adapter. The adaptor has a bolt underneath it to prevent it from rattling.
Dang it. I keep mine around a 2” receiver shackle thing so I know where it is.
Usually have these two nestled together with a pin thru them.
