DIY: Add Aux Switches to 19+ Ram 2500 Laramie 6.7L

By chance does anyone have a pic of the bottom side of the AUX pdc that came with Factory AUX switches. Just wanting to see the wiring Ram used for the Daisy chain. I post in the main section of the forum since this is more for people that are looking at add them, but I fugured its worth a shot

Ive had quite a few messages about building a Harness "kit" to add the AUX switches to yalls trucks. If anyone else is interested feel free to PM me. Not looking to make a ton of money on them, just helping out the community.
Kit would include:
-jumper harness from back of Centerstack to the OE harness
-harness from centerstack to AUX PDC to control the Accessories (in the same wire loom as above)
-Wiring for PDC
-Gray OE plugs for side of PDC (only PDC side pinned)
-pins to wire the Acc side of whatever you add later to the truck
-Fuses for PDC except the 25A fuse because they don't come in the pack, I buy so I provide a 30A fuse
-1 extra pin of each connection just in case something happens while hooking everything up. The PDC connections can be a pain so it's easier and cheaper to just provide an extra set of pins.
-Wire diagrams printed out and shipped with the kit. Same ones posted in the thread.

Then shipped to you.. Once again not looking to become Bill Gates on these things. Just know that when I did mine it would save me a ton of time if I had a premade harness.

Only thing you would have to source is the relays. You can get them on Ebay. If you really want me to get them, I can you would just have to pay for the actual cost of them/shipping.

If your talking about the short red jumpers inside the PDC I use 14ga , if your talking about the daisy chain in the PDC 18 will be fine just gona be tougher to fit, if your referring to the jumper that goes from the Center stack to the PDC then I wouldn’t go any bigger than 22ga. Hopefully that answeres your question.
Do you have any built up harnesses from the center stack to the PDC, I got everything else installed except my jumper wouldn’t connect to the factory harness, pins kept pushing out. Let me know how I can pay you, Venmo, PayPal, Apple Pay. Can I get some help with Alpha OBD, I have the PC version I hooked it up once with the security bypass cable and got in but I have no idea what I’m looking at or for. Thank you.

Cruising through eBay tonight and came across this. Figured maybe someone may be looking for one with this configuration. Good price as well.

I am NOT affiliated with this listing. Just passing it along.

Has anyone used Alpha OBD for PC on a 2024? I can’t find where to turn on the switch’es. I have security bypass and MX+.
Any help or guidance would be appreciated.

Did you check out the video on Harrison’s garage YouTube channel( should be towards the end)? Also I believe there is the steps in the 1st or second page of this thread. I don’t have my laptop with me or I’d walk you through it.

All Diesel trucks have the Aux PDU, that's where the cabin heater circuits/relays are located.

Makes it easier to add the AUX switches if needed, but still no real factory wiring harness unless you replace the entire left dash harness.

I'm sure Florotary can hook you up on a parts kit.

@Florotory, I had a question about the SBC you posted about earlier in this thread. I was looking at the diagram linked below, and the wires in pins 14 and 3 of the male terminal (yellow and green, respectively), go to separate plugs/block connectors. However....

However, in this image below, assuming the red wire pictured is at pin 16 in the male terminal, the yellow (pin 14) and blue (pin 3) wires go to the same plug. Therefore the wires on pins 11 and 3 also go the same plug, opposite of the schematic. Can you assist and/or advise? Thanks for all you've put together on this...I've learned a ton!

I am ordering some plugs/connectors for a project. If anyone is needing a harness PM me and I can order anything needed at the same time.

Thanks for the thread everyone. I was able to source aux switches for a power wagon. Purchased a $30 aftermarket PDC on amazon as well as a short 6 wire cable. All works great! Only out about $250 for it all.

Need to clean up the wires a bit, but my leads for the switches are all 10 gauge, so should be able to connect whatever I need. I have a 500 watt pure sine inverter on one. And 8 offload lights spread across 2 others. I have plans for airbag pump on one as well. The PDC fit and screwed right into the stock bolt holes which was suprising.

Did you pull power from the HAPP or just directly to the battery?

Florotory, killer write up!!! Much appreciated! I was on YouTube and Facebook groups looking for something like this.

I’ll be attempting to make the harness plugs myself. Could you post a photo of what you send in the harnesses you have been making for other users?

I think it’s
-Jumper harness piggybacked with main harness
-Ground relay piggy backs
-and something else but I can’t remember.

Thanks again for sharing the info with the community.
