Hey all. Limited Diesel owner here. Had to disconnected the battery to solve the SOS call button stuck in a loop (kept calling). Disconnected the negative on both batteries. A bit of a pain. Could I have only disconnected the negative of the passenger side? Is there an easier way to do this?

Really easy to disconnect and no you need to do both as they are connected together

I have a 2021 HD 2500. I installed the bed light kit. Instructions said to disconnect battery before beginning install. I first disconnected the negative terminal from the driver side battery. Interior lights stayed on. I then disconnected the passenger side negative and interior lights finally turned off.

How were they a pain to disconnect? Its one nut on each post
A pain to have to disconnect the batteries for a head unit issue. Should be a way to reset it from inside the cabin. But I agree, it’s just a nut on each.
