My Longhorn came with the digital mirror. After driving the truck for a couple of months, my review is a mixed bag. I like that there are no obstructions such as the back seat head rests as well as the wide field of view. I don't like that I can't see the end of the truck box. No biggy but it would be nice if one could adjust the view down a bit more. The resolution is not the greatest and it is hard to discern an object in the distance. Also the depth of field sucks. There isn't any. A real mirror does and my eyes are so used to focusing in the distance with a real mirror that I have to force myself to focus on the digital screen. Maybe my brain will adjust with time. I have tried to flip to the mirror mode but it is rather dark and of course all the stuff in the back seat is in the way. All told there are more good than bad and one does have the outside mirrors as well. If I would ask for any changes it would be a view that is lower and better resolution.

My impression of the digital mirror is mostly positive. One of the big benefits to me is the wider view available vs the standard mirror. Between the digital mirror and the convex portion of the tow mirrors, I have zero issues keeping track of vehicles entering my blind spots.

I do agree that I wish I could see the top of the tailgate. That's always been how I adjusted the heights of my traditional rearview mirrors.

I haven't found the resolution to be terribly lacking, but I also don't have the highest standards (I've had the same TV for a decade).

The vehicle behind me looks WAY too close. Have folks adjusted the settings? A cog shows up on the screen. I'm thinking I need to press the hard buttons to adjust. The three times I've tried clicking on the mirror haven't worked.

I would agree, being able to see the end of the truck would make all the difference for me. The quality is good to me tho

The button farthest left will toggle the selection between brightness and adjusting the view up and down. No adjustment for distance.
