Digital rear view mirror

I have a question regarding the digital rear view mirror. My 2022 PW that I bought used in 2024 came with the 4 trailer cameras that plug into the socket above the trailer and they work great. Since my truck also has the digital rear view mirror I want to make use of that also while trailering. I read on a post on this site that another 2022 PW owner bought part # 68525798AA and received the cable AND the camera. I looked for that part on the Moparparts.com eStore and found it with a picture showing the cable, camera, and some mounting hardware so I ordered it for $302 with shipping. I was hugely disappointed when only the cable arrived so I called the dealer and complained about paying that much for a simple co-ax cable and the camera should be, per all I've read, included. The dealer offered to take the cable back with a 20% restocking charge and that I would have to pay for the return shipping. I'd be out $110 for nothing with paying for shipping both ways and the restocking charge so I'm looking for either a work-around on the camera or perhaps buying a used camera from some Ram owner who's not using theirs. Any ideas Gents?

As I recall when I ordered mine it came with everything and was around $600 with the camera. At the time cameras were hard to come by so I had to search around to find a dealer that had one in stock.

Yeah, I just had a go-around with the dealership about whether the camera comes with the kit or not. A few Ram owners on this site got the camera and the cable. I used the same part number they used on the Ram Parts eStore and the picture showed the cable and the camera so I ordered it and $272.00 for it. Only the cable arrived so I called them back and asked "Where's the camera?" They said the part number was for the cable only but that's not correct according to the guys that have bought the kit. In any event, I need the camera since the cable was over $300 shipped and they want me to pay both a 20% restocking charge and pay for shipping it back to them. The whole deal was kind of shady on their part but since I'm so far in already I might as well buy the camera too.
