This a late reply but I came across a used 2500 Laramie 6.4 gas with 3.73 gears lease back in excellent condition, loaded with rambox.
Been towing the trailer for almost 3 years now with it, tows the trailer excellently.
I did notice it will not accelerate like the 1500 but it is a much heavier truck so that would be the reason .
Fuel mileage is down about 30% empty and 15% pulling the trailer .
